Haggai Kimmelman

VP of Strategy: Informal Education

Haggai Kimmelman, who serves as Mosaic United's VP of Strategy: Informal Education, is a veteran Jewish educator, lecturer, and consultant with many years of experience working across Israel and the global Jewish community. Prior to joining Mosaic United, Haggai has held a range of senior leadership positions, including Senior Director of Missions at JFNA, Project Director for the Jerusalem Municipality, where he led efforts to integrate the ultra-Orthodox community into Israeli society, Director of the pilot "Community" initiative of the Gesher Leadership Institute and Israel's Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, and Director of the English-speaking department of the Machon Leadership Program at the JewishAgency for Israel.

Over the years, Haggai has developed expertise in Jewish peoplehood, Israel and Zionism, Israeli society and culture, leadership development, and antisemitism. Through his work, he seeks to create meaningful educational experiences that strengthen Jewish identity, foster dialogue, and build bridges across diverse communities and worldviews.

A ninth-generation Jerusalemite, Haggai holds an Executive M.A. in Public Policy and a B.A. in Philosophy and Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and is an alumni of the M² Israeli Senior Educators Program. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife and their two children.
