Innovative Global Jewish Initiatives

Jewish identity is shaped in moments of meaning. Experiences on campus, through service, in community, and during formative years. Mosaic United invests in these moments. By partnering with diverse organizations and initiatives that meet people where they are, we help build lasting connections to heritage, peoplehood, and the Jewish homeland.

Teen Immersive Experiences & Israel Journeys

The teen years are among the most formative in a young Jew’s life, when questions of identity, purpose, and belonging take root. Mosaic United invests in immersive experiences that meet teens at this critical stage, empowering them to explore their Jewish identity and build a meaningful, lasting connection to Israel.

Through strategic partnerships with leading and innovative organizations, we support high-impact journeys to Israel and other immersive educational experiences that bring Jewish history, culture, and community to life. These programs go beyond travel, they create transformation and have a lasting impact.

A core component of our teen experiences are mifgashim (personal encounters with Israeli peers), these powerful connections bridge distance and difference, creating shared understanding, friendship, and unity between teens in the Diaspora and in Israel. Global Jewish Volunteering Opportunities

The Shalom Corps Division of Mosaic United combines global volunteer work with Jewish and Israel related educational experiences. Through these meaningful experiences, participants are given the opportunity to apply the Jewish values of Tikkun Olam and Chesed, thereby strengthening their Jewish identity and developing a commitment to social action, based on Jewish values.

Supporting Jewish Life on Campuses

University is a defining time for personal identity and exploration. Mosaic United’s Campus Division works to strengthen the Jewish identity of students on more than 500 campuses worldwide, impacting more than 172,000 students. By partnering with leading organizations, as well as grassroots organizations, we fund vital programs that create welcoming and safe spaces for students to explore their Jewish heritage and identities. Our initiatives enrich campus life and are building a vibrant, inclusive Jewish community on campus.

Israelis Living Abroad

For Israelis living outside of Israel, staying connected to Jewish life and identity can be uniquely challenging. Mosaic United invests in cultural, educational, and community-based programs designed to meet the distinct needs of Israelis in the Diaspora.

These tailored initiatives help individuals and families maintain strong ties to their heritage, connect with local Jewish communities, and preserve connections with Israel. By creating opportunities for engagement in Hebrew, celebrating Israeli culture, and strengthening community bonds, we help ensure that being Israeli remains a lived and vibrant part of Jewish identity, no matter where they are in the world.
